Our Sejal collection celebrates freedom of choice and expression. Each piece in this collection is handcrafted in silver and exists at the intersection of the traditional and the incredibly rebellious. This space intrigued us because piercings and face ornamentation are generally placed in the category of the tribal or goth. We wanted to move beyond this discourse to a more productive space because for us, face jewellery is always first and foremost a personal statement, and extremely intimate. None of our pieces need piercings to wear them, however, we are glad to recreate them to work for piercings – reach out to us for this! Baka is India's first holistically sustainable jewelry label. We go beyond looking only at eco-friendliness to looking holistically at the many other aspects of sustainability, including the social, the cultural, and the economic. We believe sustainability can be mainstreamed into fashion through good design, and that is exactly what we intend to deliver to you. Each of our slow-designed pieces is meticulously crafted by hand using sustainable materials.
