Bihart promotes the various art forms of Bihar just liek the name suggests, its an amalgamation of Bihar and art. The world knows only two of the most illustrious crafts from Bihar – Madhubani painting and Bhagalpuri Tussar silk weaves. The other crafts like Sujani, Manjusha and Sikki and our weaves like 'extra weft', 'fishnet' 'Chingari' and 'Jharna' are either lost or soon dying. Bihart attempts is to uplift and revives these crafts. While keeping the soul of the crafts intact, they have tried to infuse new styles motifs and designs and explored them on various media to make functional products and apparel. The product range includes handmade and handcrafted products from Bihar specialising in various cotton and silk weaves and sustainable and upcycled products like apparel, home furnishing and gifts.
