While problematic due to pesticide use and its water needs, cotton can be argued to be more eco-friendly than plastic based synthetic fibers due to it being natural and biodegradable. A2. Eco-friendly and organic kids’ topwear can be marginally better for kids' sensitive skins, yes. Still, the true advantage is that they are better for the soil and water of our planet, which ensures our children have a chance at a better future.

A3. These sustainable kids’ tops have been made from natural materials like cotton and GOT certified cotton. They are sturdy natural fiibers which can be easily washed without releasing microplastics and which do not use fossil fields or release toxins during production. Some say they are gentler on the skin as well. This makes this collection eco-friendly and therefore different from regular fast fashion clothing which is harmful to the planet and the people on it.

A4. Cotton is a nuanced material. While conventional cotton falls low on the eco-friendly scale due to it being water-intensive and the sheer amount of pesticides used, which cause surface run-off that can harm our water systems, it is still natural, biodegradable, sturdy, releases no microplastics and almost no toxins during use or production. GOTS certified organic cotton is better but according to some experts the water usage issues may remain.
